Our six-week summer programme gets underway on Monday 22 July, with new and exciting activities on offer across all 12 Family Hub locations.

After welcoming over 400 of you to our first birthday celebrations, this summer gives young people the opportunity to stay active and keep developing their skills during the school holidays.

The programme has something on offer to people of all ages and abilities across a wide range of interests from Williby Roc’s to Science Buddies and Learning with Play to Forest School.

Here are five reasons why our summer holiday programme could be perfect for your child:

A chance to make new friends – Our six-week programme provides an excellent opportunity for young people to socialise with people their own age over the school holidays.

Stay active – Keeping the kids active during the summer months is crucial for their health and wellbeing.

Learn something new – Whether it’s learning more about exotic animals, engaging in an exciting scientific experiment, cooking some tasty dishes, or our unique Forest School course, your child will have the opportunity to develop and learn something brand new.

Family bonding – Physical activities can be a fantastic way for families to spend quality time together. Whether it’s our Learning with Play group, a trip to Bill Quay farm, or participating in various sporting activities, staying active can strengthen family bonds.

Fun and enjoyment Summer is the perfect time for children to discover activities they genuinely enjoy. From family walks and arts and crafts to dancing and playing sports, there are countless ways for kids to have fun while staying active.
