A bookable space for families where they can experience the use of the multi-sensory room in their own privacy, the safe space offers multi-sensory resources to help families enjoy a therapeutic and engaging sensory experience.
This exciting new space offers a range of features including special lighting, interactive and tactile sensory toys, and soothing music.
The new instalment has already proven popular with families, with staff receiving lots of positive feedback. Speaking about the sensory room experience, a parent said: “My little boy and I had such a lovely time in the new sensory room. I think it is brilliant that you are able to book an hour slot to use exclusively or with friends.
“It meant I could spend some quality one-to-one time with my son, with new and exciting resources that we don’t have at home. The sensory room was very clean, safe and accessible and all of the staff in the Hub were helpful and friendly.”
Another parent commented: “I would highly recommend the Bede sensory room to other parents. It is such a great space for babies from being newborn right up to toddlers and preschoolers.
