🌞 Families across South Tyneside are invited to enjoy an exciting programme of free summer activities taking place in Family Hubs throughout July and August. With sessions running across communities, there is something for every family, close to home.
Each week is packed with fun-themed activities to spark imagination and encourage learning through play. Families can look forward to exciting themes such as Bear Hunts, Jungle Adventures, Under the Sea explorations, Farmyard Fun, Space adventures, Pirates, and Summer Party celebrations.
The programme offers a wide range of engaging sessions including sensory play, storytelling, music and movement, outdoor experiences, creative arts, and interactive workshops. There are also tailored sessions such as SEND activities, young parents groups, grandparents groups, and fun opportunities for older children, including workshops and youth provision.
Alongside the fun, Family Hubs continue to provide vital support for families, including breastfeeding support groups, baby clinics, and access to helpful parenting resources and apps—ensuring families can access support when they need it most.
Some sessions requiring booking in advance—so families are encouraged to plan ahead and secure their place early.
