As Baby Week celebrates its 10th Anniversary, we are excited to reveal our schedule with a range of activities on offer for South Tyneside families.
Baby Week brings together services to promote the best start in life, celebrating early childhood and raising awareness of the vital first five years through annual citywide events and national collaboration.
From the 14-20 November the week promotes free and low-cost events and activities for parents & carers, professionals & under 5’s nationally.
This year’s theme is ‘focusing on the best start’, as we aim to raise awareness of the critical developmental growth stages and a real focus on the 1001 days in order to give every baby the best start in life.
South Tyneside Family Hubs, together with our local partners, are here to help you give your baby the best start in life through activities, events and information around:
- Personal care
- Good health and nutrition
- Improved mental health
- Making little moments to make time for yourself
- Making the most of support networks
- Being active, playful and bonding with baby
- Having lots and LOTS of fun!
